B&B accommodation on, or close to the route is still slightly limited particularly between Winchfield and the Itchen Valley. However there is sufficient to complete the journey without often having to walk more than 12-15 miles in a day.

The majority of entries are established businesses, but occasionally accommodation may be offered specifically for walkers of the Three Castles Path. Telephone to arrange your sequence of overnight stops before setting off.

Agree a price and give an expected time of arrival if possible. Evening meals are often available at a nearby pub, but there may be occasions when it might be best to take advantage of a lunch stop midday.

There is plenty of choice in Windsor and Winchester, but annual events such as the five days of Royal Ascot (third week June) and the biennial Farnborough International Air Show (mid July 2022/24 etc.) can soak-up the accommodation for miles around.
